The short version. CousinChart is free to use for personal and classroom things — just not for commercial use. We try hard to be accurate but can't promise perfection, so please double-check anything that really matters. Be kind and don't break the site.

Using the site
CousinChart is free and there's no account to make. You're welcome to use it at home, with friends and family, or in a classroom. A few straightforward things we'd ask in return:
- Please don't use it commercially — no selling what you make here, and no folding it into something you charge for.
- Please don't try to break the site, overload it, or scrape it automatically in a way that spoils it for everyone else.
- Please don't use it for anything illegal, or to harass or hurt someone.
- Please don't copy the site itself and republish it as your own.
What you can do with what you make
Everything you make with the tools on CousinChart is yours to use for personal, non-commercial use. Print it, use it at home, use it with your family and friends, use it in a classroom or a club — all good, and no need to credit us.
What we do ask is that you don't use it commercially. That means please don't sell what you make, hand it out as part of a paid product or service, or use it in a business you're charging people for.
And please don't take the tools themselves, repackage them, and pass them off as your own.
If you'd like to use something here commercially, just ask. We're friendly, and the answer is often yes.
How accurate is this?
We test our tools and fix whatever we find, but we can't promise a result is right for every single situation. Think of what you get here as a really good starting point rather than a professional opinion. For anything with real consequences — health, money, legal questions, or the safety of a person or an animal — please check with someone properly qualified. We'd rather say that plainly than have you find out the hard way.
